Temple of the laughing god
« on: 08 May 2023, 11:50:37 AM »
Finished up another temple for Frostgrave.  Called this one the temple of the laughing god as it uses the daemon head with the disintegration portal from Tomb of Horrors and laughing was the best way to describe it.  At this point it is done enough.  It does need another highlight to tie the surface color together and weathering but I needed it ready as we are playing a game at the club tomorrow.
Foamex with some 3d printed parts, 15mm minis and scratch built elements.  Hope you like

That's no laughing matter!

A great and imposing build. I agree that another highlight might work to bring out the details a bit more, but overall, it's a nice, brooding, monolithic temple demanding, rather than requesting, worship... 8)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Another brilliant build.

I'd love to see some full tables of your stuff to see what you play on.

Thank you all for the kind words.
I'd love to see some full tables of your stuff to see what you play on.
This was tonight's game.  We played the Left hand and the Right Hand.  Loads of fun.  Buildings were close enough that people could jump between them and with how built up it was it played merry havoc on the statues line of sight.  It ended up targeting things further away than you might expect.

The narrow alleyways made for some interesting lines of sight for archers and wizards as targets would appear then disappear just as quickly.
