Silver Bayonet Sprint and move to attack
« on: May 17, 2023, 11:19:42 PM »
Not sure how people play this rule in Silver Bayonet….

A sprint appears to be a special action in the rules. A move to attack is part of a move action, not a special action. Hence we have played that only a regular move action can lead to an attack. Looking at videos online of the game being played, many people seem to play the sprint as allowing the attack option.
There is the same issue around forcing an attack…can you force an attack from the sprint move?

Any thoughts

Cheers

A bit late, but just spotted that this had not been answered yet — from the author: yes.

A sprint is your second action, but if it brings you into contact with an opponent it triggers an attack.
