First of two radio plays "The other side of the hill" based on Peter Luke's novel. Follows the story of Napier and the 43rd in the Peninsular 1809-1813.

First episode "It's a long way from Talavera". 90 minutes. Starts just after Talavera, up to 1812. Second episode (not out yet - next week?) presumably does the rest.

On BBC Sounds. Unfortunately the link doesn't fully scan, so you will need to go to BBC Sounds and search.

Only listened to the first five minutes, sounds very good. Thought you might like the heads up ASAP.
