The Battle of Pontefract - a WOTR what if scenario
« on: July 13, 2023, 06:50:44 AM »
Good Morning Folks
As part of my efforts to promote my new venture the Shed Wars Experience I set up and invited along a few wargaming luminaries to take part in a big Never Mind the Billhooks battle. These included Andy Callan, creator of NMTBH, Dan Faulconbridge, Editor of Wargames Illustrated, Nick Eyre of Northstar Games, and I mustn't forget Captain Blood. The game itself was fought last saturday and was very much a what if scenario from the Wars of the Roses. A full alternative history, full game report and oob's are now up on the blog...

Hope this is of interest and if you want to learn more about the Shed Wars experience please head to my website...

Astonishingly great Erik et al  :-* :-* :-*

BTW, I didn't realise just how big the "shed" was until NS (or WI?) posted an image or two on Farcebook. Amazing. (Yep, colour me green with envy!  :P :P :P)

Yep, he should renamed it "Eric's Wargaming Palace."  ;)

What a great looking game! Might sound weird, but I like the forests the most- the trees are big enough to seem forest-y instead of garden-y.
