O Group Sicily 1943
« on: July 23, 2023, 10:18:32 AM »
I played a game of O Group yesterday at my club. We played an Operation Huskey scenario based loosely on the 5th Seaforth Highlander's attack on Francoforte. It was a good game that was a difficult slog for the Highlanders.

There is a full AAR on my blog at: http://this28mmlife.blogspot.com/2023/07/operation-huskey-pseudo-francofonte-1943.html

Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Good looking game.

Did the attacking British lack artillery support? I would have thought the massed targets in the vine yard would have been under plenty of shell fire?

That's a great looking table, I especially like the dry river bed.

No. He just didn't concentrate his artillery very well. He targeted them once and then moved on, spreading his artillery around on different targets.

Great terrain!

Thanks Tom.
