I'm so excited for this game system. Everything about the setting and theme appeals to me.
I pre-ordered the bundle w/ book, Manifestations, tarot deck and  a full set of German and French minis.

Question: what size Renedra round bases will the standard infantry be put on "officially" per book recommendation? Can someone share that info?
I figure either 20, 25 or 32mm ?
I acquired some UK and Germans in gas masks, and would like to get started on them. But I wish to base them properly and consistently.

Thanks.

Infantry models should be mounted on a base no larger than 25mm in diameter, cavalry no larger than 50mm - whether the base is round, square, oblong or hexagonal is unimportant!

Hi,

We'll be adding to the starter bundles 25mm round plastic renedra bases for Infantry, and 25mm by 50mm rectangular bases plastic renedra bases for the cavalry.

Definitely suitable as a British Witch.

Thanks Nick. I’ve been looking for a justification to get him in a game. As a ‘Witch’ supporting the Jervis Battalion of the (63rd) Royal Naval Division just seems right..  :)

Hoping a mix of Khaki & Blue will give my platoon just the right look..

After all, who else but a Naval Division would you deploy in a dried up sea????

Tim

I was thinking the same. Man the Doggerland frontline with Sailors.

Copplestones Naval Infantry will do, not spot on but close enough, officers as well.

May have missed this, but what sort of table size are we looking at for a game of 10-20 points?

When playtesting we did so on 4x4s and 4x6s - If you were playing predominantly with infantry, you might get away with a 3x3 with 10 point patrols but a standard wargaming table is the gold standard

Ooh. Yes, a few extras in just Naval uniform sounds just perfect. They will have to wait for purchases round two..

Thank you both!

Within the lore, what is the primary terrain type of the Doggerland? Sand and mud? Something more firm?  I am  sure we can play on any feasible style ground and remain thematic to the system's storyline, but if I am to base my minis tonight, what is a "safe" bet within the newly created landscape?

Inspired to get a platoon ready for AWT, I painted these two British Cavalrymen last night. They are all Army Painter Speedpaints, so they only took 1-2 hours to do.

The masks are from our Frostgrave Ghost Archipelago Tribals plastic box set.

Those are very nicely done Nick, and an interesting take, almost at Turnip28 vibe with the added flowers!

Very clever Nick.

Giving off a Warlord of East Grinstead vibe… I heartily  approve..
