Mig Ammo Acrylics- Any Good?
« on: 08 September 2023, 05:13:25 PM »
First off, apologies if this should go elsewhere, this seemed the most appropriate subforum to post. If not, Mods, please move!

Anyone got any thoughts, positive or negative, on Mig Ammo acrylics? Are they accurate to what they purport to be? How do they cover? Do they play well with brushing?

Got a few pieces in the stash on a subject I've never done before, and while I could (and probably will) just eyeball it using my usual Humbrol enamels, I notice our Spanish friend does a specific set with the colours I (allegedly) need, and I am curious.

Thanks in advance!

Proudly not painting Wars of The Roses since... ever

I bought the set for WW2 British Airborne and was very pleased. The box has a painting guide for the subject which was really useful. I don't use an Airbrush so couldn't speak on that but found the paint using a bristle brush although thin still covers well in a couple of coats which also depends on your undercoat colour, black, grey or white. All round I like them,
Hope this helps
