Returned from the ashes: 01-04-19Hello everyone and welcome to the 2nd edition of the Completionist's Guide to Frostgrave Scenery.
If you are like me, you want to have scenery that fits the scenarios presented in the books as much as possible. Now, obviously Frostgrave can be played with whatever you have lying around, but the setting is just so awesome, that I just want to have the scenery as described in the books.
Which is why I have decided to set up this thread. It would be awesome if it could be made sticky for everyone to easily check back on.
What I want to do is have very short descriptions of the specific type of scenery (aside from the regular ruins) needed for each particular scenario. Then, if there is either a product out there or a very good tutorial, perhaps a thread started by someone here or maybe even some inspirational pictures to get you started, then I will add links below that.
Let's make this a community effort so if you have anything to add, just add a comment and I will see to it that it gets added to the list.
Also, if you have built any of the scenic pieces, please do share pics here!!
(Obviously, if the mods dislike this idea for whatever reason, feel free to delete)
Note: As I was updating the previous version, I was hit by the 2000 character limit so I decided to just restart the whole thing and make sure I have some extra posts underneath to be able to continue the saga on the first page. It has been four years since I last updated, so this seems right. However, do check up on the last version for some awesome inspirational pictures from forum members:
