The Danube Campaign - Napoleon's last triumph
« on: September 18, 2023, 05:21:19 PM »
Hi everyone,

It's that time of year again: I've finished my next range of figures and now have a new Kickstarter going!
This time I decided to do more Austrians and finally some French to expand my range for 1809.
Here's the link to the Kickstarter if anyone is interested:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pianowargames/the-danube-campaign-part-1

I hope you like the new figures! Again they all come both in white metal and as STL files for 3D printing :)
And here are some of the pictures I took last week:

All the best
Lucas

My, my, what pretty figures.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Beautiful work; right from the sculpting, through the painting and the photography.

Wow.  I've never collected Napoleonics but as has already been said, the sculpts, paint jobs and photography -- and also the bits of terrain around the edges -- are fantastic.  Well done!

They are beautiful figures as good as or even better than Perry or AB in my opinion.

I asked the designer Lucas if it is possible to print in 10mm and he said it would be hard as the weapons might be too thin, I would love to hear from anyone who has done that successfully with any of his other stl files.

I would like to start a project for a 1/10 figure ratio rules set and the only way to really do that would be 6-8 or 10mm for a brigade level game on a normal table.

On your slogan "Don't bother running, you'll just die tired":
I saw a middle-aged woman with a shirt that read "I tried running but kept spilling the wine".

Utterly stunning!  :-*

Sculpting, casting, painting, composition and photography is all perfect and I think you've achieved some of the finest wargaming photos ever seen in these hallowed halls!

(Though I think some of those groups are crying out for a caption competition...)  ;)
