Chirton Maggot sludge raiders
« on: 12 October 2023, 04:18:50 PM »
I play kill team quite a lot and I feel it needs more non GW figures kicking about. So I decided to do a blooded team using some grimdark looking 3d stuff from Knucklebones miniatures. I needed to convert a few to make the KT specific figures, plasma, melta etc. Here's where I've got to. Four done, 16 to go...
I went extreme sludge on these, dirtying up the grimdark in to something I feel is more grimedank.

Very nice. Those Knucklebones figures look the part, especially with you paint jobs  :-*

"Grimedank" I love it lol

Great work.  A bit of a different twist on the subject matter, but clearly well suited for the 40k universe.  I particularly like the musket/blunderbuss wielder.
