I recently put on a FPW game for my club. Follow the link to my Flickr page.

Really enjoyed looking through your pics. My own FPW stuff is in 10mm but I have to admit these look great. Bravo!

I've been thinking for a while about brigade-level FPW in a larger scale (28mm or maybe 15mm), with some battalion-scale decision-making e.g. how many men to put in the firing line vs how many to keep back for the assault. Overall, how do you rate TDFG for this kind of game?

Well, it's not a brigade set of rules. It's Battalion level. I'm not sure how you would do brigades with them. If it were me I would search for a suitable brigade-level set of rules. I happen to prefer battalions.

Sorry I'm probably not being clear - I am interested in the battalion being the basic tactical unit, allowing you to play games with about a division per side on a sensible-sized table. That is what TDfG does if I'm not mistaken? Just interested to hear more about the rules.

It should work great for that.
