I started dabbling around March, just doing bits and bobs during my lunch break at work and in the evenings.
I spent quite a while doing what I call digital kitbashing and only recently have been doing fully original work, which I find is quite difficult using tinkercad as it slows down quite a bit when you start getting complex. I really need to learn Fusion 360, which is the next step up but I don't have the time for that.
I think with tinkercad I just liked to put things together and see how they look, which is very trial and error. I wonder if maybe I would have been better off with actually drawing out a design first and then going on from there.
