Native Americans with Bloody Miniatures?
« on: December 17, 2023, 05:19:18 PM »
All,
I’m thinking of adding some Native American warriors to expand the usefulness of my Bloody Miniatures ECW figures.  Any thoughts about whose minis would look best?

Maybe Galloping Major or Redoubt. They are on the bigger size so i think they would mix well with Bloody miniatures. Yet, they are from a later period.
You also have the Crucible Crush figures but i think they may be smaller than Bloody. Yet the period is ok.

Left to right: Redoubt, Bloody Miniatures, Galloping Major, Crucible Crush

Redoubt and Galloping Major are, almost, all armed with muskets; both have a bow blister and redoubt also have natives with clubs.

Thanks for the photo.  Seems I have a problem then.  Even if I used some musket armed, the muskets are too modern.

if they are slightly smaller they're either undernourished or the BM ones are over-fed.

Crucible Crush only slightly smaller and as they will be on opposing sides for me I would suggest less of a problem, dont Gripping Beast also do a range of pre-contact Scraelings? Possibly too early but good to mix in. Foundry also have an early Ameri-Indian range but this will be much smaller in 25mm.

These figures are smaller than the Crucible Crush ones. The Blood & Plunder native Americans might be around the right height, and they have a few Woodland Culture packs aimed at King Phillips war?
