Female Scientist Miniature
« on: 30 December 2023, 08:01:35 PM »
I'm looking for a 28mm female scientist miniature to handle all the Mad Science needs of my alternative history scenario.

I found one browsing through various manufacturers online, decided that would be perfect, and like a twit accidentally closed the tab before bookmarking it. Much searching today has failed to unearth the figure.

The figure was wearing a lab coat, shirt and skirt, and had their right arm pointing at something with a pointy stick. I thought the figure was from Crooked Dice but I can't find it any more. Any ideas?

I feel I should know the one you mean.

But in the meantime, there is this reaper one - https://www.reapermini.com/search/scientist/latest/59009, although possibly a bit too steampunk

Maybe one of these? - https://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/product-category/pulp_alley_gaming_accessories/pulp_alley_miniatures/

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Many thanks for the suggestions...

This one from Reaper miniatures?

Bingo, that's the one. I'd forgotten that I looked there. I like the way she could be ordering her minions to go and deal with the disturbance on the lawn...

I meant to add that, even though you closed the tab, it should still be in your browser history - unless you were using incognito mode.

Glad you found her, and not sure why my search for scientist on the Reaper site missed her ???

The scientist figures have separate heads, allowing you to easily change their appearance.

ARC Melody Lake head and the female scientist body.

Using an original Daughter of Shiva head.

Note to self: always read the original post properly.

Okay, the Crooked Dice scientist is wearing trousers.
Melody Lake is also not in a skirt, though she is pointing a photonic spanner in an aggressive manner.

You could paint the above in a lab coat.

Probably because Reaper call her a "Professor" rather than a Scientist as I described her; thanks for trying though.

I like the way she could be ordering her minions to attack, but Ms. Temple could be a sidekick.

Will need to play a few campaigns before I make this league though.
