Haven't posted here in a bit! But, I've FINALLY finished this unit of mounted dwarves... Also shown with their brethren. Getting them ready for some Dragon Rampant! Reduced model count Heavy Riders... banner has 2 strength points.

Thanks for taking a look!

I don't know what it is, but seeing old Confrontation stuff, especially well painted and put in a nice scenic environment, just makes me happy. Must be nostalgia. I would enjoy some close-ups of single miniatures, too.

Lots and lots of ppl paint it. But mostly individual pieces for a shelf. Not many build armies with the old lead... which is what is was for... I have a lot more dwarves in the works... coming soon! I'll try to snag some individual pics.

Proper old Confrontration stuff is always a joy - and I say that as someone who thought their dwarves were the worst of their bunch.  Never much cared for them.  But the style of sculpt, particularly when well painted is just something else.

Never played the game, only have a few of the miniatures (literally by accident, when shipped from a hobby shop that had their SKU's wrong), but always admired their pictures and wonderful imagination in their sculpts.

As a great fan of the Rackham range, I can only admire your work! Your version of Hirnh-Karn looks really good, maybe a close-up picture ? Always a pleasure to see these fabulous figures again. I am painting an Orc wizard right now, I will try to get a result as good as yours (or maybe almost as good...  :D)

Lovely work!  :-*

I will always have a soft spot for Confrontation miniatures, no matter which faction. Something about the sculpting style and studio paintjobs has elevated the entire range to a level a bit above other miniatures to me for some reason. And you've done them proper justice too :)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

 Great painting on these.
Always loved the Rackham range of miniatures.

The magazine that they did was top quality. Some great terrain in the pictures too.
