Fantastic! How long are you spending painting each of these?

No idea, around 20h maybe. I jump a lot between projects and spend 1-2h in a week on Warzone minis.

I obtained proper Sea Lions Sgt and Cpt, so small squad becomes small platoon:

Silky smooth.

How are you so ridiculously neat when you paint?

Your painting really makes those old models shine! The comically exaggerated sculpts looks pretty awesome with such a careful application of paint!  :o :-* :-*

Holy crap, those are some stellar PJ!

I'd been eyeing some warzone models a few years ago, as there looks really started to appeal to me.
they're both something very special and very much of their time.
Looks like tons of fun to paint.
Too many other projects, of course.

But you just keep painting them and I'll continue to enjoy the pretty pictures.

They are lovely! It makes me think about painting those few Warzone minis I have.

Thanks for comments :)

The plan is to paint even more Warzone goodies, and later I'll try to create and share some lead adventures.

Those old minis are surprisingly easy and fun to paint. Smooth painting goes with a lot of practice, but good paints helps. Not so long ago I discovered Scalecolor Artist paints (in tubes) - they are pretty neat.

I am a longtime fan of Warzone. Started with 1st edition. Have huge armies of about everything. You did an GREAT job on them! I look forward to seeing other figs as you complete them.

There were some pretty poor figs released. But most figs were decent to good for the time and had a lot of character. I love em! I bought 400 packs when they were being dumped by stores.

Thanks

Incredible paintjob again  8)

I especially love the difference between the ancient looking armour and the more pristine weapon!
