Really nice work. Details! I'd love to do something similar as a dueling arena for Heavy Gear.

He's a good looking rat. I have not had one since I got married.

And the landing pad is great. I love the multi-panel look.

That's a pretty big pit, assuming the rat is fully grown. Odd how several of us can actually guage the size from a rat

I miss having a rat. Mine was happy to sit on my shoulder as I walked down the street, fantastic conversation starter with women. They'd do the initial shriek thing and then be fascinated by him, got me more than one phone number

Got me into trouble in a corner shop once though, hadn't really thought about the fact he was there, shop keeper was less than impressed.

He is a she and one of three, too likes sitting on the shoulder.
The pit is rather large in diameter, because is shall take spacecraft up to the size of a light freighter (28mm Millenium Falcon...)

Sorry don't know anything about rats sizes unless you put in a 28 mm scale one.

I don't have a clue how big/small the landing pad is?
Are the barracks building 28 mm as well?

Marco, these are drawn on cardboard with a ball pen to scribe the lines.

Those lines were blackened with Vallejo acrylics and the panels painted on with different shades of grey:

Traces of running lines from soot and rain, blaster fire, rust and blood on the walls were added and then they were ready to be mounted to the superstructure...
