Operation Restore Hope - Somalia 93

Came across my 20mm forces for Ambush Alley's Blackhawk Down Scenario book and decided to revisit Restore Hope but concentrating on the operations outside Mogadishu.

Of course I hadn't got any suitable terrain so put these together using off cuts from a previous project, some creme eggs wrappers and some lovely 3d printed bits from Sabot3d.





























Next up the opposing forces.

Loving the riot of colours

Nice! Very vibrant colours. Somewhat reminiscent of the La Boca district of Buenos Aires. Could do double service should you contemplate street fighting between Boca Juniors and River fans. Just use a toffee tin for the Boca Stadium, it's what it most closely resembles anyway.
