Cornwallis Attack at Brandywine

Just some pictures of a recent AWI game loosely based on Cornwallis’ attack at Brandywine from the British Grenadier scenario book.

Apologies but the pictures are from one stage of the battle where the British Grenadiers, light infantry and Hessians had advanced on. I forgot to take more pictures later of the two other British brigades that came on.

As commander of the Americans, I managed to hold the line, despite a few set backs, within the allotted number of moves which was my objective.

If you look closely you might spot Molly Pitcher doing sterling work as a gun loader!
