28mm Hothchkiss MG's
« on: November 20, 2009, 10:16:46 AM »
I need some HMG's to mount on my Back of Beyond American archaeologist expedition vehicles.

I've got a couple of Copplestone maxims left over from an army project that I can use, and a few 1/48th Lewis guns from aeroclub for back up, but what I'd really like are a few tripod mounted Hotchkiss MG's to put in the back of my Lledo diecast trucks.

If possible they should have crew figures that I could convert, without too much trouble, into montana hat wearing, civilian clothed adventurers.

I've had a look through the Redoubt Boxer Rebellion range, Renegade early war French, Scarab French and Empress SCW, and there are some possible figures there.

Any other suggestions?

Cheers

Jim

I thought about the same, great minis. If looking for MGs only try brigade games.

Now that I am casting my own miniatures, as long as they would be figures from my own range, I could always take a HMG from one range and crew from another if that helps. I can also sell the HMGs separately. Just contact me off line or order and add the particulars in comments.

Thanks chaps,

I found a Scarab French Hotchkiss team at Warfare yesterday, so I'm going to fiddle around with that to see if I can work it into a truck mounted AA gun thing.
