Minis with flamberge style sword
« on: 16 April 2024, 07:27:54 PM »
Any 28mm minis with a flamberge style zweihander? Preferably plastic but I’ll take metal or resin- already looked through warlord games but heir models only seem to have the straight-bladed variant, so I’ve turned to you fine people to help :)
Thanks in advance!

The Assault Group miniatures TAG has a german hapsberg command miniature with one in their renaissance range

Also take a look at Steel Fists Italian Wars range.

And here - https://castingroomminiatures.com/products/landsknecht-greatswords

All metal though I'm afraid.

A couple of the OOP WHFB Empire Greatswords had them, as did
Mordheim accessories sprure. Not the cheapest option, but they will probably crop up on eBay.

Because of this you can find a number of 3d printable files with them available currently, if that takes your fancy.

Would be useful to give specific options, so I'm going to point to the work of two french sculptors I really like.

the set includes bodies with integrated arms holding flamberge, separate arms that link up with flamberge hands and entirely separate flamberges as well, plus a bunch more.
