« on: May 14, 2024, 01:55:44 PM »
Here are some of the CoC figures I have been working on lately. A bit of a change from 40K and D&D figures I had been doing. I will get more names put in when I have them in front of me. Otherwise I will butcher them.

Y'Golonac

Yig

Tsuthoggua

Lesser Other God

Nyarlathotep

The Hound

Hydra

Moon Beast

Haunter of the Dark

Hunting Horror

Byatis

Dhole

Dagon

old Grenadier

Floating Death

Hound of Tindalos

Reaper

That’s a great collection! More than enough there to drive a few dozen investigator parties mad.

Very good.

Less is More is often overlooked by painters.  The simple white eye of the Moon Beast is very effective.

So I picked out a project for next weekend... The Dunwich Horror:

It is a 3-D printed figure I picked up on Etsy. I primed it in flat black and plan to build up shades of brown and green with 21 red eyes. Hopefully it will look as good as in my imagination. But it got me thinking... How do you paint a figure of something that is supposed to be invisible??
