This is a great looking project, with the release of kickstarter 2 it's inspired me to start painting the 1st release which I hadn't started. I didn't realise how good the sculpts are until I started painting and the detail is incredible. I'm going for Oosterbeek/Hartenstein themed force.
Can't wait to see how your project comes along

Great steady work.  How big are your forces going to get?
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Just a note for those who want round bases but would like them without the holes, try Total Element (but don't tell them what you are doing with them!!!).  They have various sizes of steel discs meant for magnetic triggers on doors and such.  But they make great bases.  I'm using them for 15 mm figures.  Even a simple tiny 1/2 inch piece gives enough weight to keep figures upright.

I go one step extra and prime the underside of my bases - this prevents bare metal from showing (I hate that in a game) and it mildly reduces the hold which in turn reduces the chance of the magnetic connection being strong enough to break a figure from its base.

This is what 2 full Monty deals and a boat load of the extras look like. This is from the Empress & Hicks Arnhem Heroes 2 Kickstarter. So much stuff! Have I bitten off more then I can chew? ;D
