I bought a large collection of the board game. My OCD decrees that I HAVE to paint the minis before I play the game  .

The figures are nice big chunky 32mm, decently detailed plastic. There are flash and mould lines of course, but unless they are too bad, I leave them. It's only a board game and more important to slap some paint on than display purposes. Works for me  .

I'm almost exclusively using Army Painter Speedpaints 2.0, which allows me to paint a hero figure in about 60-90 minutes,  so progress is made.

Nicely done with the speed painting. I particularly like the paladin type as the colour scheme reminds me of a Dungeons & Dragons action figure I had when I was a kid

Must admit, at first glance I couldn't make out the dwarfs face and thought it the figure had an arse for a head...

Thank you kindly sir! Yes, the speedpaints certainly get things done in an easier fashion as my health really can't put up with painting for hours on end.

Regarding the dwarf: having taken a renewed glance at my poorly photograped image, I can definitely see why you thought that might be the case  , I can assure you sir, he does not and I'd be very careful to voicing such concerns within his earshot.

Slow progress due to lots of work and other matters I have to sort. Managed to get a 50 minute session in the other day so slapped some paint on Laegon, who can be played as a Ranger or a more Archer focused character.
