But did it have to be so nailbitery? I've restrained myself from looking at the results (too often) the past few days, as it really was extremely close. For the longest time, it was you edging just ahead, but eventually things did swing my way. If only barely...

I'd like to thank everyone who has participated, for another cracking edition with loads of really, really good pieces of terrain, Burgundavia in particular for making this all possible; your efforts are really appreciated! And, again, of course Mick; your entry has inspired me to visit Guédelon castle at the earliest convenience now

Also; after losing in the finals to AKULA two years (or so?) ago, I'm glad I've finally bagged my first potato and have avoided Raymond Poulidor syndrome in the process

Yes but they need to be scratchbuilt and utilise a bare minimum of commercially available parts in their construction.

I must admit, I like the idea of a score draw after extra time.
