Tintin marks little soldiers
« on: 16 June 2024, 10:56:46 PM »
Finished this from marks little soldiers range, I tried to paint him like the illustration, with an outline, glossed up to finish the toy look

You could certainly believe that was genuinely a Britain's Tintin toy from the 1950s.
Back from the dead, almost.

That is brilliant Andy. So simple, so effective. You’ve really captured a feel of Hergé’s trademark Ligne Claire  :-*

And that is a seriously high gloss finish.

I find this range almost irresistible, although I’m still just holding out so far  lol

Fantastic work Andy! Your effort to capture the look of the artwork has been completely successful, he looks like he's stepped out of the page! That gloss will keep him safe if some idiot drops him as well!  lol

Captain Blood - resist no longer, I say!  :D
