British marine tropical uniforms circa early 1930s?
« on: June 22, 2024, 07:09:17 PM »
I've found early WWII information but nothing for the early 1930s for Marine tropical dress.  Think in terms of the Caribbean and/or Central America.  And no idea if they served in those areas but my game in planning/painting is entirely fictional.  But I would like to approximate an appropriate uniform - at least until I exercise creative license and adjust a bit for whimsy (or not).

Thanks!

I don’t think you would go far wrong with WWI uniforms.

WWII uniforms had 38 pattern webbing - so a bit later than what you are looking at, and the 08 webbing was around in secondary units into WWII.
