Tarzan type mini wanted
« on: 26 November 2009, 08:49:24 PM »
I hope the minds on the forum can help me. I've looked but can't quite find what I want.

I am after a Tarzan type, preferably closer to 30-32mm than 28mm, and certainly not 25mm. I don't want one with anything but easily removed hand weapons (which rules out the Wargames Foundry example), and my ideal woul be something with a tabbed base.

In lieu of Tarzan/not-Tarzan models, a muscular type without weapons (preferably) in the right scale would suffice.

Any links to likely minis would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

If you are willing to sculpt the hair and loincloth, then you could use one of the generic figures from Bronze Age Miniatures.  They are the size you want, and are very muscular.

Otherwise, there is a Pulp Figures pack that has a "not Tarzan" family, I think...

Pulp Figures "Kojar of the Forest Tribe".

No tabbed base (thankfully - have I mentioned lately how much I dislike splattabases?), and he's got a knife and some equipment (bow and arrow?). Pulp Figure sculpts run somewhat on the larger side of 28mm, usually.
