LAF-ers in Gloucestershire, UK?

Hullo all!

Just wanted to post this here to reach out to local LAF-ers. I've just moved up to Gloucestershire and am looking to expand the ol' social circle a bit. I've been on LAF for a while, keeping a (very) intermittently updated project log over in Future Wars - https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=141711.45

I'm mostly a painter, and I've shamefully neglected the gaming side, so I'm looking to rectify that! I'm a BIG fan of the old Mutant Chronicles universe, and have a One Page Rules-style project on the backburner for the system, so if anyone would be keen to play a few games of Warzone, do let me know. I've got quite a few of the armies from that game, so no problems if you don't have suitable minis. I'm also very happy to try new games m'self! I'll even play 40k, although I've no idea what edition we're at haha. Feel free to respond to this thread or just drop me a DM if you'd be keen to roll some dice.

Very posh! Bit of a trek from the Wessex-Mercia borders though.

Might be worth trying to arrange a meet up of local LAFers at one of the regional shows at some point.

For me, Reveille, Bristol; Overlord, Abingdon; Attack, Devizes & Colours, Newbury. Depends what you consider a reasonable distance to travel for a wargames show though.

I recently stumbled across Big Battles in Cirencester. It’s a gaming venue that you can hire for events and they host the Cirencester Wargames Club every other Wednesday. I haven’t checked it out yet but I thought it might be of interest to you, me & other vaguely local LAFers.
