Oldies but goodies from Foundry. I painted another set of these ages ago, but decided to try them out again.
It’s strange how they are all wearing specs, being a homicidal maniac obviously damages your peepers.

splendid figures, always fun to see these whenever people paint them :)

Great work.

They seem really vibrant, which seems slightly odd to say given the amount of black clothing!

Amazing paintjobs :-*

However once the thought struck me that they all look like different versions of Billy Connolly, especially the one in the Fez (which is no bad thing), the thought will not leave now  ;) lol

.  I use a mix, with layers from Vallejo and Foundry triads.

Every xmas sale I contemplate buying those but look at my existing boxes and talk myself out of it.  Great paint job on your set.
Painted:  2025:539; 2024: 410; 2023: 37; 2022: 56

"It’s strange how they are all wearing specs, being a homicidal maniac obviously damages your peepers."

At first I thought, they were told it would make them go blind, and they actually stopped when they needed glasses.

Then, no, these are all an elder Sherlock's disguises, each requiring optician.

Finally, no, we need a scenario where all the players run villains.

These would be PERFECT!

Beautifully done! I have this set too somewhere.

IIRC each model basically conforms to a real suspect. I used to be pretty conversant about all this but I've long forgotten it all. "Leather Apron" is obvious, but the rest elude me.
"One of My Men Became Restless" focuses on 15mm Horse & Musket periods and 25mm Horse & Musket, Fantasy, Horror and Victorian everything! Occasionally there'll be stuff of related interest but it's mostly a painters blog.  See it all here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/

. The one with ginger beard is Aaron Kosminski, the bald doctor is William Gull and I think the one with the red cape and knife is Francis Tumblety.
