Self-Propelled Assault Gun for VBCW
« on: 02 December 2009, 03:38:20 PM »
A quick little mini-project, more of an afterthought really...

While waiting for stuff to dry for this weekends game at Recon, I converted some BEF Miniature Matilda Is, by adding Renegade Miniature 18pdrs, and a plasticard shield.  The matilda turrets won't be wasted as they will be useful for othe rprojects later on.

In keeping with the charm of VBCW, the huge gun is balanced by the slow speed, and poor crew protection. - known as the "Albert Mk I SPG", its crews nicknamed it "The Equalizer" (RIP Edward Woodward).

Will add some crew when I get a chance.

Lovely work, Akula. Just lovely. Need to get to building more improvised vehicles for my ACW2 project, but unfortunately American interwar vehicles are fairly hard to come by, in the miniatures world. Hope to remedy that soon.
