Seam/crack filler for Reaper Bones?
« on: 09 January 2025, 07:13:20 PM »
Doing a bit of a reorg/purge of my store room at home, and I discovered some Reaper Bones figures from a couple of the Kickstarters that I never got around to assembling.  They looked possibly worth assembling (some giants and some large Cthulhu Mythos critters).  Most went together just fine, but a couple of the larger and more complex pieces have a few gaps that need to be dealt with.

So, now the question - what have people been using to fill gaps on these larger Bones models?  Green Stuff.  UV Resin?  Ceiling spackle?

Thanks in advance!

I usually use two part resin to adhere the parts.   After that milliput to fill the majority of the voids then green stuff to finish.  Just the way I do it.

It depends on the size and location of the crack, but either greenstuff or Golden Hard Molding Paste

I used GreenStuff, because I thought it would probably be a bit less brittle than Milliput when cured. I haven't had any issues.
