Hut-Dich-Baur Ich Komm! - New Landsknechts from Baccus 6mm
« on: 14 January 2025, 01:09:19 PM »
I am delighted to able to announce that the first of the Baccus Landsknecht codes are now available.  You get these sartorially garish chappies advancing with pike, and also doing the jabby, stabby, ‘Argh!’ thing.

There are 5 different poses in these codes.   Each posture has two separate sculpts with different variation in dress.   Each of these has had between four and eight copies made, all of which have been given individual headgear.   The end result is a spectacular range of appearance, appropriate for these most individual and snappy of dressers.

The accompanying arquebusiers, two-handed swordsmen and artillery crew have all been sculpted, moulded, cast and sent off the sculptor to be given their individual headwear, and we hope to be able to release these in the next couple of month.

I really enjoyed painting these figures.   The lack of uniformity is a challenge, but once you get a system in place they paint up remarkably quickly and the end result is spectacular to say the least.

I am working on some flagsheets for these chaps to be released at a later date.  You can find all the details here https://baccus6mm.com/catalogue/ItalianWars/Landsknechts/.

Our next set of releases for the Italian Wars are now available.   Landsknecht pike, Arquebus, Zweihander and artillery have all joined the Baccus ranges.

These 6mm figures may be smaller than the 28mm giants that usually pop up on these pages, but they are incredibly detailed, accurately posed and packed full of character and variation.

Easier to quicker to paint than their gigantic brethren, the let you model the Italian Wars in the Grandest of styles.

'Is 96 figures a big pike block?'

'No mate.  It's just a single packet of 6mm!'

Go really BIG by going really Small.
