armed monks

I'm looking for 28mm armed monks for an inclining Silver Bayonet warband... open to all suggestions that either have melee weapons or muskets.

Haven't come across armed monks outside of Japanese Sohei. [edit: and now seeing the Perry ones below]

Foundry has some nice active monks, including one with a club that I've used for Silver Bayonet, and one wielding a good head-bonking cross that will likely get used at some point.

If you could shift to armed nuns, 1st Corps' Hussite women with polearms are perfect as is.  I used those for my SB cultists.  Just posted pictures of them last week.

There's these ones by Battle Valor, but they're probably too modern for your purposes...

Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Yes, they have a variety of weapons (musket with bayonet, musketoon, pistol, blunderbuss...)

Been using them in Peninsular skirmishes

...and if they are unlucky you can always replace them with those of 1st Corps.  ;)

I found some medieval monk armed with swords, daggers and improvised weapons from Artizan that certainly could be used.  Their habits look much the same.

WestWind Miniatures have armed monks in their gothic horror/Empire of the Dear range. They are armed with a variety of melee weapons, crossbows, muskets and shotguns.

Oh my!  Those would be great to use as 'Egyptian Conscript' quality troops for any European Silver Bayonet squad.

I'm already planning on using the Egyptian Conscript stats for spear-armed Opolcheniye and the European Conscripts from the Italy book for Opolcheniye 1st Class with muskets.

I stand corrected, what I thought were Artizan monks are the Angry monks from Gripping Beast for Saga.
