A few more items I only got as far as underpainting and putting on bases: a few more peltasts, and phalangists, and some javelinmen (PB15). Finally two (cheap,  plastic) elephants with a mahout and javelinman (?PBC31c and a) on each.

Plans: well, since I haven't used them for years, probably time to sell (perhaps keep Alexander!)

That’s a shame. I was rather hoping for a big make over thread seeing you do the army up and finishing off those units that never got finished 😀

No - downsizing and clearing out old stuff.  Time for someone else to take them on, I think! One more picture, an old average die (marked 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5 for use by regular troops).

You are bringing back lots of memories to me. :)
Briton's baby elephants provided my pachyderms too.
My average dice, though not used for decades, show similar wear. :-*

There's still a chap at our club who uses the Briton's Baby Ellies in his armies now!  :D

.. turns out even the elephants (Britains baby African elephants, #1313) have some value as vintage items now!  All the Britains are quite effective designs, and were apparently based on sketches from real life (mostly in London Zoo) by George Ford, which gives them more individual character.
