Revamped tower castle from 13 yrs ago
« on: 21 February 2025, 05:59:31 PM »
Hey all, been AGES since I posted here, I will fix that NOW!!
I revamped an old tower keep that I had done when I was just starting out... I added some new stones/bricks, and some bushes and vines to upgrade the thing. I really like how it turned out too!! The vines are hemp string with parsley and oregano flakes as leaves with grated colored sponges added as flowers on the sponge clump style bushes....I added the OLD pics to show the upgrades...
The original tower was made from mostly cardboard with some granny grate.

That's a fantastic looking model. It has a very fairy tail look about it.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Hey, thanks for the replies, @mweaver, thanks...it's nice to finally have some things to show here again!! I have a few things in the fire to finish up, one being a Gundam style derelict. That old tower keep was one of my first before I gained some experience, and it and a few others sat on my shelf all this time growing dust bunnies. I'm running out of space, so they MUST go, and honestly, I could not put them up for sale then and NOW they get some help to find a happy home ;)
Cheers,
Carl
