Sorry only kidding nothing secret, I am rolling out my Arthurian project as you know and Steve Shann was looking at both Wars of The Roses and Crusades so getting to grips with the mechanics again seemed a sensible thing to do ahead of pushing on with those projects.

 lol you got me  lol

I have been a "fan" of your blog for many years roger, all the contents,  are well considered and well composed. I especially love the Bat Reps as they are detailed enough, illustrated enough to hold my interest for the whole post. It's also extremely important that we keep long form wargaming blogs going as the main social media platforms are simply designed to supply dopamine hits and are ?tranger to interesting literature.

Keep it up matey!
