Japan?s first Prime Minister, Ito Hirobumi, was raised in this house and lived here until 1868; this was the house of a low-ranking poor samurai in Hagi, capital of the Choshu Domain (Yamaguchi Prefecture). As you can see, it?s much smaller and shabbier than the Tenmyo farmhouse from Ota-ku, Tokyo.

I loved visiting Toei studios... when we went it was the weekend that Universal Tokyo was opening, was relatively quiet and we were interviewed by local news... the ghost house was brilliant fun as well.

Do they still have the shuriken shooting range (a mad concept that health and safety overlooked)?

I had fun at the ghost house, that was creepy! I'm not sure about shuriken range, I wasn't looking for it. I went on a rainy morning, which is why it was empty.

What a great collection of photos.
Anyone  painting Japanese buildings can be inspired
by the pics that are posted.
Thanks.
