K-Cube Storage from Sally 4th
« on: March 23, 2025, 08:27:31 AM »
I?ve been tackling my hobby storage recently. Having a spare Ikea Kallax unit going spare, I decided to put most of my annual wargames budget into some K-Cube Storage from Sally 4th https://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/product/k-cube-drawer-set/. Each cube holds 5 drawers, 1 drawer can hold up to 180 miniatures on 25mm bases - meaning five drawers can store a whopping 900 minis!

Spent a couple of hours last weekend organising my minis and filling my completed K-Cube storage. Pleased with how it looks and how it all came together. However, safe to say that I totally underestimated the number of minis I own!

With the majority of my minis now in drawers, I now have more storage room under my table. The result is my 'cabin' now looks roomy and tidy. How long it stays tidy for...

The perennial problem - keeping some space to move round in  :) Having recently got a new cabin, bigger than the last one, I expected to be surrounded by wide open vistas - cat-swinging (not an activity I?m advocating, obvs :)) room in abundance. No chance. It?s axiomatic that wargaming stuff expands to fill the space available.

So any neat storage ideas are always of interest. Yours looks good and has the great advantage that, being drawers, you can store things on top of them.

Good stuff.

So true, so true. One thing the tidy up has shown me is how big a collection is that has grown incrementally over 30 years. A little bit here, a little bit there soon adds up to something sizeable.
