decent 28mm wine/spirits bottles
« on: 28 March 2025, 11:26:52 AM »
having just received quite possibly the worst 3d printed bottles from ebay (layer lines, can't tell what was supports or the baskets around the bottle - thankfully the seller didn't argue and just refunded), can anyone point me in the direction of  set of 28mm bottles (fancy wickerwork not vital, but nice) that just need painting...

Thank you.

tabletop-art if you're willing to spend big enough or a friendly EU-based forum member can help out.

Lots of great stuff in their ranges. The minimum ?135 order value for UK-ers is a big hurdle though.

Plastic sprue, heated and stretched, then selectively cut, will create very nice bottles

I know, hence my comment about friendly EU LAFers. I used to buy from them regularly.

Oh dear. I'd not come across this company before. Now my wallet is whimpering...

Not 28mm but close enough for me is 1/48 scale Dolls House stuff.

Dunkeldorf Miniatures? Another EU company though one with a much friendlier U.K. shipping policy. Lots of fantastic bits & pieces, scenery, WFRP style miniatures & animals.

I purchased these at Origins this past June from Elrik's Hobbies. They had a couple different packs. Not enough individual bottles for me, but they look fine.

I like to put the bottles on the bases of my post-apoc figures. Like good old boy Junior, here:

That gives you a look at the size compared to a Brigade Games 28mm figure.

As much as I'm not a fan of their business practices, Greenstuff World do have some good products, and one of them is a large sprue of bottles, which might just be what you need.

Here's some green and brown glass ones, but they also do clear and different shapes...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I picked up 40 bottles for £5.99 (plus £3.85 postage) from a seller on Etsy. They do differing amounts of bottles - £9.99 for 80, £13.49 for 120.

Mine were produced by VixensMiniatures.
