They look lovely! Is the banner printed or is it bought from somewhere? It looks gorgeous :)

Thanks! The banners so far are all purchased from a variety of providers (Flags of War, Little Big Men Studios, GMB Flags, etc.). As it happens, I have just finished the first unit where this is not the case. I generally like to support artists, but sometimes there aren't the right flags or decals available. This is the case for the Papal States, so I made some custom decals and the yellow flag to match the overall theme. These were made with ChatGPT's image creation mode and then printed with a 1200dpi colour laser printer. The end result are 12 swordsmen and 12 pavisiers for my Papal States:

Really nice work with the decals! Very hard to tell they aren't professionally made, while my custom flags always look just a little cheap next to stuff from GMB and the like. Love the detailing on the shields as well, makes for a really cool looking pair of units.

Some more pavisiers: Germans with another set of custom decals/flag, French with commercial decals.

This is the last unit for my Germans so the first warband for this project is done! Just a few more to go :)

I've said it before, but the details on the shields look fantastic. Really elevates an already cool looking unit :-*

Thanks. Next we have some billmen for the War of the Roses. One Lancastrian troop with the colours of Lord Sundeley.

A Yorkish troop with the colours of Edward IV.

And a generic "Tudor" troop.

What a fantastic thread, very inspiring. I just ordered some Perry Agincourt miniatures after seeing your pictures.... I really struggle to paint Perry minis (no idea why) but having seen the art on this thread I will give it another go. Off to order the Age of Chivalry saga book probably as well... Thank you for sharing I will be following this thread as well as searching for your earlier posts.

Glad that my work inspired you. Welcome to the world of Saga!

I added a few more German warriors (4) and Crossbowmen (6) to bulk out the units. Photographed here with the original figures.

For the French we have 16 men-at-arms on foot including some of the French nobility, and a dozen archers. I used the smaller bows from the War of the Roses set as these wouldn't have used English longbows.

Handsome minus all around.

I especially love the bases and the red lances.

I especially love the bases and the red lances.

I was thinking that those would be a great way to base a War of the Roses force. White/Red flower tufts for the appropriate forces

Your wish is my command. Here we have the Lancastrian commanders: Henry VII on horse, Edward the Prince of Wales and Longstrother on foot, and Henry VI.

The Yorkist faction is covered by Richard III on horse and Edward IV on foot.

Add to this a French Bombard
