All six of the bikes finished a day early for pickup. Pretty happy with the result: somewhat uniform, all unique though. Nose patterns are cool, I think. Loads of colour, which was fun.

Those bikes are outstanding! And exactly how (in my head at least) Eldar should look.

Thanks all - and yep, hand painted! Totally each one is unique. I start with a flat brown, really thin, build an outline, and work up through five or so layers to an orange!

I masked them off to airbrush the highlights - the only “mechanical” part on these bikes.

Client is picking them up today!

Love the paintjob. Must have taken you hours!
I always remember seeing a Harlequin Dread with a harlequin jetbike for the head. Great old school 'Eavy Metal.

Thanks! It did take a bit lol - I wish I had a jetbike to convert it! Those are so rare now. But 100% cool

Lovely Old School dreadnought :) . They can often be too "diamond-checked" but you've kept it to a nice level :) .

Many thanks! It is indeed a fine line between just enough and too much diamonds for the Harlequin theme!

I had to match someone else’s basing style - some kind of all over white.
I made a mix of Golden brand fine pumice gel (which is light grey), added Vallejo White Primer, and some White Ashes pigment flakes for a bit of texture. Applied with art spatulas, and a thick brush to take away any peaks.
