Harlem Heights 1776
« on: May 05, 2025, 09:48:30 PM »
I hosted a battle at my house a few days ago.

I've included a few teaser pics, but the whole battle can be read on my blog for those interested.

Lovely looking table great AAR and the minis look fabulous! Only point I'd like to make having once served with what were then the 42nd foot, The Royal Highland Regiment (The Black Watch) they were decidedly not dressed as an English line Regiment! GOD FORBID SIR  ;). may have dispensed with the glorious kilt, but would have still worn the Scotch bonnet against these rebels!!
I've got at least three kilted units in my lobsterbacks and two more trousered but decidedly Scottish battalions. Can never have enough Scots in a redcoat army  lol

Thank you very much everyone! :)

@Wellington

That's not the only mistake I made as I used whatever I had on hand from my collection. lol I was consumed with getting the table and scenario prepared that I missed that which is a bit annoying as I actually have highlanders!

Very nice! And Knowlton survived this time?
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss
