Ottoman Janissary uniform query

Hi all,

As we seem to have some Ottoman fans here I thought I'd ask..

I have a unit of RSM Jannisaries to paint. I'm struggling to find any image references for what the figure is wearing. This is a pic from the RSM website.



There is fine detail on the material which you can see better in these pics.





Is the 'coat' cloth? Embossed leather?

I'm just looking for some painting references, please?
