Hi all,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to reach out and announce the release of Bayonets & Brushes new range. A rather expansive Japanese range to cover land, air and sea from the invasion of Manchuria to the collapse of the Empire in ’45.
It’s a massive range of over 150+ vehicles at a price point considerably lower than Battlefronts but (we believe) their equal where quality is concerned.
We also cater for smaller and larger scales if you are a Bolt Action officionado or a Blitzkrieg Commander fan.
Come and have a look at the release announcement blog. Maybe you will find something to your tastes:

All comer welcome! :D

Wow! Lots of stuff you have there.

And some interesting early stuff for the 20s and 30s too.

Ah ha, not heard from of your company before, am always looking for 3d printed vehicles and guns for my collections in 1/72, and 1/160 for 10mm gaming.

Love the fact that you've been very comprehensive in each range, and the emphasis on unusual ranges. A whole link just for Japanese armour prototypes, yes!

Question - can you print in 1/160 scale for 10mm gaming? Or 1/150 if necessary. I see you do 1/200 and 1/100 so I guess it's possible. You have some trucks and guns I'd like.

OMG you do a a 1/144 Martin W139 bomber!!!!
I've been after some of them for ages for my WW2 Turkish & Thai armies.
All I need now is a Morane-Saulnier MS406 fighter

hey guys,
Thanks for the kind words, we've only been trading since last July BUT we've been building the foundations for the ranges for about 5 years, not initially I have to be honest as an eye for going into business but more to pack out the weird and wonderful collections. Now its like a plastic addiction. I work the artists hard and spend every minute I have spare doing it :D
Mark, yes I have something of a fetish for doing really expansive ranges, its the reason its taking us months to release each range. Just for WW2 the Belgians are finished and awaiting release, the Italian range is enormous and just needs some artillery and Liblis done and the Hungarian, Romanian, Finnish, Bulgarian, Czechoslovakian, Slovakian, Swedish ranges are practically complete but need all of the prep work done. The French, German and Soviet ranges are already big but need a lot more done and the UK and US are lagging far behind at the moment.
Where other conflicts are concerned the Gran-Chaco War is practically finished, just some artillery to mess around with and the Franco-Thai War range is wewll underway with mainly the Thai artillery tractors and pieces still to do.
So... lots going on :)

oh and by the way Mark, yes we are happy to print in 1/160 for you. There is so little price differential between 1/200 and 1/160 that we opted not to have it as a separate category and just assume people will request it as we are a print to order company :)

You have a nice range! I saw your blog post link on the Bolt Action Facebook group the other day and checked it out. When I get back to my Japanese army, I'll probably grab some artillery.

Nice ranges. What is really missing for the Japanese are appropriately clad interwar Japanese infantry in tunics. Most ranges just present them in tropical uniforms for the Pacific and Burma. Some earlier versions in the older M90 tunic would be handy for China.  Infantry for the Swedes would be another gap that needs filling.

Most interested to see if your Czech range covers artillery. There's a local retailer selling an extensive range of Czech AFVs and softskins, so my needs have been met for armour but I could see myself buying the odd artillery piece.

Well, my Martin B10 bombers arrived. Only a few days turnaround, not a month like so many other companies.
Perfectly scaled at 1/144, these are excellent models. They come with separate propellors which have long pegs. The receiving holes in the engines will need fine drilling out. The only downside is that the radio aerials are slightly bent, and no machine gun barrels are modelled in the turrets, which is expected in this scale - modellers might fabricate their own but for wargames durability the absence is not a problem for me.
