Generic scatter - Busted Silo

I like these H0 silos. With a different paintjob you can change them into many things and use them for many scales (see here > https://20mmandthensome.blogspot.com/2022/01/double-silo.html )

I'll use this for my 15mm and 28mm collection, for scifi, modern, post apoc, WW2 and scifi. To quote a certain CEO:"It just works". But then for real, not corpo speak. Anyway...

Mate, that's some gorgeous work.

I had to go to your blog for a true sense of how big they are and you are right, they'll work for 15-28mm.

Edit to ask, what brand are they?

They come from the Faller 130474 H0 Concrete Factory. I bought a box of 12 of them last year at a tenner each as they come with 2 narrow silos, 1 chubby silo and enough spare building parts to keep me going in both scales for an scratchbuilding eternity.

(And Dear Lord and Saviour, Faller now wants 60 euros for a single set. Mental  :o )

Other H0 brands make them as well, if you go hunting on used train groups etc you should find them as well. Heller, Kibri, Pola all have stuff like this.

The damage and weathering looks amazing! You're right - lots of HO terrain can go for either scale...as long as figures aren't trying to climb around on it!

Nice job on the weathering, these silos come in many sizes, maybe the ladder is the only indicator of the scale.

I received a new bottle yesterday (something about losing the white bottle and then finding it again just after the new bottle had been dispatched....<sigh>) and the new one is even bigger. 100ml was 8,50 euros at this particular shop and will last me a long time.

Nice job on that.  Looks like somebody used it for large-caliber target practice...

Picked up a bottle at Partizan.  I hope to have a play with it this weekend. :)
