Metal Gear Solid miniatures painted [2025-05-27]

Last month I purchased the Metal Gear Solid board game (retail version) on a whim, and it turned out to be solid fun with interesting gameplay and rules. Not that many miniatures to paint either so I figured I would slap some paint on them as I am keeping the game in my collection.

So far I painted up Snake, Meryl and Meryl in disguise, as well as all the guards. Just a couple of hero and boss minis left to paint. Part of me wishes that all miniature board games had this limited number of miniatures (comparing this to Conan with 200+ minis    ).

And the guards, these were kind of speed painted using airbrush, oil washes, and a minimalistic approach to the armor and leather, focusing on the green clothes instead.
