Never Mind the Naginata
« on: 28 May 2025, 04:01:27 AM »
Recently, I've been poking about for information on a Samurai flavoured Never Mind set of rules that are in development.  Found some mentions of it on the Never Mind FB group.  Googled  a bit more and came across this blog post of a playtest game:
https://arcanesceneryandmodels.co.uk/temple-dogs/

Looks very promising as an option for fast play bigger skirmishing than Test of Honour.  Cutting back a bit on the standard figure count per unit in Never Mind (and tracking casualties on the side) will allow an easier painting requirement for new figures too.  The normal allotment is 12 foot, 8 mounted, and 6 skirmishers; 9, 6, and 3 would make for an easier slide from ToH.
