A Data Terminal
« on: May 30, 2025, 04:21:05 AM »
OK, so I created a data terminal (from the Hardpoint model by Worldworks Games in the "Rezolution" cardstock terrain set,) only changing the blue hues on the sides to red/pink to blend in better with the terrain. It was a tough call as to how much pink fluff to add, but in the end I opted for less fluff to create more playability.

Hi! I'm Harry. I am a hobby addict; I game sci-fi, fantasy, and historical (including Ancients, Dark Ages, Renaissance, and World War II Manchukuo.)

Somewhere, Punkrabbitt, an 'exotic dancer' is crying and missing part of her act!  lol
Good work though - the terminal looks the business and the, err, fluff is inspired, in a Julian Clary sort of way!  lol

What are you representing with the pink add ons?

This is the most faithful representation of what I believe packet loss looks like around a server. :D

It looks rather magnificent. Very nice. Hope to see a photo of this on a similarly themed table!

The pink fluff is the terrain theme for one of my "alien world" terrain sets. Pinkfluffdoodle IV is a rough-and-tumble frontier world who's biosphere expresses in punks and reds; not just the vegetation, but also the local fauna.

Hopefully this weekend! I have one more model to paint and then I'll be playing the game :)

Ah, now I see, like Sigur I had assumed it was an interpretation of the cyber flux lighting effect often seen in movies these days.
Doing something like that table wide is an intersting challenge, I look forward to seeing how it all comes together.

Ask, and you shall receive! Here is an example:

That's a 3'x3' table, and I have enough to cover a 4'x4' table.

That is a very unusual looking games layout, now you need a couple of squads of the pink space marines that were all over the web a few years back.

I really like the translucent jellyfish you have floating there, I have been looking for small versions of that to float around my sci-fi corridor terrain as bio-hazards.

Thank you. I have a batch of smaller pink ones, not translucent, but I have no idea where I got the from. Or where they are right now.
