Hey all!! I'm back with another build. I got a big bulky, but, articulated mecha from Wallyworld, and had an idea to lay it out as a long forgotten relic of a war long past. The base is mdf, the trees are made from real tree limb twigs cut down and glued to a  shape I thought was nice. I added some lichen, plastic fake flowers, and fluff to the limbs and glued flocking, ground up sponge bits, oregano and parsley flakes to                                        bulk them out. The plastic robot was placed in a kneeling position with battle damage I made with drill bits, and a hot soldering gun. I then tore off an arm and added some wires to the stump, then proceeded to paint rust all over. I added the trees and vines later. The trees are removable so if I wanted less foliage. the bushes were made from chopping up sponges I had drenched in different color paints, dried, then cut apart and also ground up in a mini coffee grinder. I used a LOT of super glue and tacky glue to keep it all together. The mecha can still move it's arms and can lean forward at the knees as well. It is glued AND pop riveted to the mdf base for sturdiness.
As always, please leave a comment on how I worked this project. All comments are welcome. I learned a lot since I had never done a mecha before.
Cheers, Carl...

Very nice indeed. Great painting and terrain - that is one seriously overgrown mecha!

Can't see it as I get a pop up asking for permission for cookies, which I never give, but it needs you to through it all one by one and deny it / switch it off, and then the hidden stuff.

In the post reply screen, there's an icon that looks like a tiny portrait to the extreme left above all the smilies. If you click it it'll give you the image code. You just post the link between the code.

You can also just type it and not bother with the link if you prefer.

But no spaces, I put in the spaces so you can see the text, without the spaces you dont see the command.

Great looking trees by the way, and the rusty overgrown mech is a great touch.
